In memory of our son Allen, we wish to help and support all those making an honest effort towards recovery, start their journey off on the right foot, one step at a time, one pair of shoes at a time.

If you were to ask any practicing alcoholic/addict in the despair of their disease if they wanted to live that way, they would most certainly say no. When the afflicted checks in to a recovery/treatment center it is often after spending time living in cars or on the streets. They often have lost or misplaced their belongings but are trying to find a way to sobriety.

Here at Allen’s Closet, we choose to help recovering men even if it seems to some that they put themselves in the situation.

If you believe as we do, that everyone is worthy of dignity, compassion and empathy, especially if they are making an effort to recover, then we welcome you to join us in our mission to provide the basic needs of clothing and shoes to those on the road to recovery.

To the Loved Ones

We know well the difficulty of loving those still suffering and the tough love that it sometimes requires. Here at Allen’s Closet, we hope to stand in the gap between you and your recovering loved ones by supplying the basic needs of the addict/alcoholic when you are unable, hoping to bring a small amount of comfort to you as well knowing there are resources there for your loved one.

Allen’s Closet is a source of belief, encouragement and support to those taking their first steps towards sobriety. Through our work we offer:
